01 How it started
Looking for color, then making it
Twenty years ago I wanted a candle holder that was handmade, with lots of color, on quality glass — and I couldn’t find what I wanted. So I started painting my own.
That search turned into years of hand-painting glass, one piece at a time. No factory, no assembly line. Just paint, light, glass, and a lasting obsession with what color does to a room.

02 Where & how it’s made
Painted directly on glass, on Cape Cod
I’m 70 now and still paint seven days a week, because I still love the moment sunlight or candlelight hits the glass and the room wakes up.
- Choose the glass. Quality glass cubes, curves and votives ready for color.
- Paint by hand. Mosaic sections, fish, rainbows and seasonal motifs — brushed on one piece at a time.
- Catch the light. Finished pieces are made for candlelight, fairy lights or a sunny window.
- Ship safely. Breakable glass goes box-in-box, with recycled paper packaging.
03 What makes it special
